The most common alternative to tinplate for food contact applications. Lower brightness than tinplate. Both sides are laminated with PET or PP finish to prevent oxidation. Sulphur staining of the steel by foodstuffs (can not be custom (unlike tinplate). The mechanical properties match tinplates
