Translucent colored cast acrylic plastic (see sellers for color variety) evenly diffuses light as it passes through. Resistant to strokes. Cut easily in multiply, laser-cut produces highly polished edge. Superior for laser engraving.

Extruded acrylic costs less than cast and is easier to laser cut, rout, and polish. Cons: lower melting temperature, low resistance to scratches. Same as cast perfect for backlit fabrication, cutting, and gluing. Resistant to strokes. Does not yellow over time.
