Cost-effective leather substitute contains up to 20% genuine leather mixed with a polyurethane binder. Short lifespan, the color can fade in the sunlight. Thinner than most faux and real leathers. See sellers for the variety of colors. Base: 2.2mm chipboard.

Courageously artificial leather imitation (bonded leather) is a combination of synthetic fibers mixed with urethanes. More expensive bonded leathers almost match the look of genuine leather, but not the durability (see sellers for details). Base: 2.5mm chipboard.
