70lb super smooth paper has an enhanced ink holdout and print performance due to its uniform, highly calendared flat surface. The paperweight base is similar to 28lb premium office paper. Prices may depend on the brightness and vary by the seller.
70lb smooth uncoated is best used when you want a little thicker paper for books inner pages with solid ink coverage. Smooth feel, the printing of text and photos very sharp, yet the ink gets absorbed into the paper and has more of a dull look.

Tear & water-resistant synthetic paper looks like silk laminated, extremely smooth on both sides. Unnoticeably thicker than 100lb Text, easily rolled or folded. The printed ink may look slightly glossy. No coating is required.

3mm sheet is not easily bendable. Birch is a straight-grained wood with a fine and even texture, soft, with more complicated grain patterns than maple, and hides scratches better than maple. Easy to stain and the stain penetrates more evenly. Least expensive among hardwood.
