Description
A cost-effective lightweight uncoated paper used for printing telephone books, catalogs, manuals. White with lower brightness. For premium white paper look for text/book paper or supercalendered stock.
Light-weight paper used for high-run publications. It is unnoticeably thinner than Vogue magazine inner pages (55lb). Gloss coating is optimal for vibrant colors. Рrices vary depending on brightness and paper brand.

60lb Dull paper has less coating than gloss paper. Appears “semi-gloss” or “light gloss” with enough coating to add thickness and smoothness to the paper. Has almost no glare and a very small sheen on printed areas. Thin enough to be used as wrapping material.
70lb smooth uncoated is best used when you want a little thicker paper for books inner pages with solid ink coverage. Smooth feel, the printing of text and photos very sharp, yet the ink gets absorbed into the paper and has more of a dull look.

28lb writing or 70lb uncoated paper has a slightly textured but mainly smooth-to-the-touch surface. It is excellent for 2-sided printing with no or low show-through effect for heavy ink coverage.
80lb Matte Book paper has a soft finish and barely noticeable sheen. Printed inks shine more vividly than on uncoated paper. 80lb weight is a popular choice for take-out menus.

80lb Gloss Book is the most cost-effective paper among the 60lb to 100lb options. It is commonly used for printing trifold takeout menus, brochures, and flyers or as a cover for mailing magazines.

100lb Gloss Book is glossy on both sides medium-weight paper that can be easily rolled or folded. Most commonly used for trifold brochures and posters.
Matte 65lb Cover -the thinnest cardstock on the market. It has less sheen than the gloss 65lb Cover and can additionally be finished with soft-touch, matte, UV spot, and other specialty finishes.
Gloss 65lb Cover paper is one of the thinnest cardstocks on the market. Gloss coating results in rich colors and crisp resolution. It can be additionally finished with soft-touch, matte, UV spot and other specialty finishes.
80lb Cover is a thin cardstock with a smooth-to-the-touch surface without visible texture. Natural off-white colors may vary by the sellers. When printed, dark ink may look slightly dull.

One of the lightest cardstocks, the 80lb Cover is an excellent fit for catalog or booklet covers. Gloss coating results in rich colors and crisp resolution, making images pop.

Very thin 10pt cardstock (similar to 80lb-90lb cover) is in between the heavy paper and light-weight board. Perfect for two-sided printing as it is coated two sides (C2S) and can be additionally finished with a variety of finishes. Best for products that require folding, stacking, transporting.

One side is smooth and coated for printing, foiling, and more applications. The other side is uncoated, porous, and sometimes printed with one ink. 10pt is a lightweight paperboard similar to heavy-weight fliers or not-too-sturdy book covers.
